What is Spiritual Direction?

In Spiritual Direction, you reflect deeply on the experiences of your daily life. Gradually, as you reflect, you may begin to recognize the presence of the Holy and the influence of Grace in your life.

Spiritual Direction is a contemplative practice, involving silence, reflection, and response. Spiritual Direction helps you to cultivate your inner life and expand awareness of the sacred dimensions that underlie everyday experience.

Spiritual Direction is really not about being “directed” so much as being encouraged to draw closer to the Divine.

Spiritual Direction invites you into this Relationship whether you attend a church, a mosque, a synagogue, temple, or none of these. The Holy seeks you where you are. Thundersong is a non-proselytizing avenue for journeying and growing in relationship with the Holy, with self, with others, and with creation.
