Weddings and Interfaith Pastoral
Care
Ren Faught, J.D. is a legally recognized
non-denominational interfaith minister and pastoral counselor, as well as an
officer of the court/judge pro temp in the states of Indiana and Illinois. Thus
Ren can officiate at weddings and serve as celebrant for commitment ceremonies,
vow renewals, divorce and/or separation rituals.
Ren can and will assist you in all of the
following aspects of your wedding: pre-marital counseling sessions; service
planning; rehearsals; assistance applying for and filing marriage licenses; and
obtaining marriage certificates.
Ren is also available to officiate or
co-officiate at funerals, home blessings, baby namings, dedications, name
changes (including ceremony and all court filings, legal publications, and
court appearances), plus other religious celebrations and rituals.
Additionally, Ren is available to make
pastoral care visits to you, a family member or loved one during stays in
nursing homes, hospitals, hospice care centers, or during periods of home
confinement. Ren is happy to make home visits to shut-ins. She will make prison
visits and/or correspond with inmates, including those housed in maximum
security facilities.
Ren specializes in non-traditional,
interfaith, and glbt ceremonies, and will travel reasonable distances. For more
